I was inspired at the time by 6 time world champion and gold medalist Sugar Ray Leonard, and father of our guest, Ray Leonard Jr. I learned quickly I don’t have the nose or the pain threshold to be a boxer. Ray Leonard Jr has been in the ring and on the field as a two sport, division one collegiate athlete. I have worked with Ranny’s brother Danny Vinson on several films and got to meet Ranny Vinson at The George Lindsey film festival when Danny and I had Crab Trap playing in the festival.
