Episode 21 – Kimber Eastwood (Clint Eastwood – Daughter)

This episode’s interview came out of left field for me. I’ve spent the last 50 yrs quoting lines from her father’s films with my friends only to discover she has been a makeup artist of Wheel of Fortune for 20 yrs. Yep Clint Eastwood’s daughter Kimber Eastwood Midkiff has been an actor like her father but prefers being behind the camera producing and doing makeup. She doesn’t live the Hollywood highlife you’d expect of an Eastwood and love to drive the country with her husband and dogs.

Episode 20 – Kimberly Butler McMillan (Marty Butler – Daughter)

This episode’s guest, Kimberly Butler McMillan, I met way back when the short film, A Chess Player that I produced, was screening in the Beaufort International Film Festival. However it wasn’t until years later that she told me about her father, a well known Canadian singer songwriter. As the podcast grew and I was thinking of guest I Googled her father, Marty Butler and listened to his music. Well, his daughter Kimberly has a great story of blended families, pharmaceutical sales, single motherhood, real-estate, a new home and a deep love for her father, his music and songs, including Fly Little White Dove Fly that he wrote for The Bells. Marty also gave piano lessons to Anne Murray. Marty’s death from Aids in 1996 lead Kimberley on the journey to become deeply involved in Aids charity work. #Trinilopez #thescptres

Episode 18 – Christina Capra (Frank Capra – Daughter)

I was introduced to this episode’s guest through a friend from back in Charlotte, NC who wrote this amazing book called “Poster Girls”. Like her famous grandfather and father Frank Capra Jr, Christina has found a calling in film. She has written the script for Poster Girls and plans to produce and direct the feature film. Episode 16 – Ray Leonard Jr. (Sugar Ray Leonard – Son)

For 30 seconds in my youth I thought I wanted to be a boxer. I was inspired at the time by 6 time world champion and gold medalist Sugar Ray Leonard, and father of our guest, Ray Leonard Jr. I learned quickly I don’t have the nose or the pain threshold to be a boxer. Ray Leonard Jr has been in the ring and on the field as a two sport, division one collegiate athlete. In this episode Ray Jr takes us inside the ropes, from being a kid in a national 7Up commercial with his father, to running his own sports business, to his annual charity golf
tournament, Ray Leonard Jr has a story to tell.

Episode 15 – John Iseman (Madison Iseman – Father)

For this episode I got to meet and chat with someone from my hometown area of Myrtle Beach, SC. He’s the dad of the amazing, and soon to be even more famous, Jumanji actress Madison Iseman. Her dad, John Iseman, was introduced to me by a mutual friend and he was right in saying, John is the nicest, most down to earth retired dentist you’ll ever meet. Plus he’s so level headed in dealing with a daughter who was determined to move to Hollywood and make it big time. It’s a dad’s perspective of Hollywood and his baby girl. #Jumanji #MyrtleBeachSC

Episode 14 – Ranny Vinson (Danny Vinson – Brother)

This episode we meet and talk with the twin brother of one of the best, coolest and nicest character actors in the movies. I have worked with Ranny’s brother Danny Vinson on several films and got to meet Ranny Vinson at The George Lindsey film festival when Danny and I had Crab Trap playing in the festival. Not only do they share the almost identical twin features, but if you close your eyes you won’t know if it’s Danny or Ranny you’re chatting with.

Episode 13 – Jordan Burbank (Dennis Burbank – Daughter)

This episode is a true hardcore baseball fan episode. I chat with Jordan Burbank, the daughter of Dennis Burbank, a three time MLB draftee. Jordan is an SEC Texas A&M Champion Soccer player herself. This is a fun, full-blown, sports family episode… #MBL #collegesoccer #OSU #softball #eSports. It may be a stretch to use the word famous about her father, but what a great sports story she has to tell.
