#Batman fans of all ages owe this episode’s guest a listen and a share. Athena Finger is the granddaughter of Bill Finger, the co-creator of the Batman comics with Bob Kane, although Athena and her father had to fight for many many years to make sure Bill received credit.
She was introduced to me through Bill Field from Episode #1 of this podcast. Athena is an artist, a teacher and spends much of her time keeping her grandfather Bill’s legacy alive. She travels to comic conventions meeting fans of Bill’s work, shares stories of the battle to get him and other comic book writers and artist the credit they deserve. She is also campaigning to get Bill a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
